Emergency Ambulances, provided with special medical equipment, play a major role in evacuating patients to and from the hospital.

The ambulances are staffed by physicians and emergency paramedics, treatment can be administered en route to nearby medical centers greatly increasing survival rate and reducing the likelihood of further trauma.

Next to the medical center, a number of out-patient clinics serve the local residents.
